Where did celebrities like Jimmy Fallon, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Tony Bennett dine around New York City recently, and what did Jared Harris tell us about his character ‘going postal’ in Certain Women? Jeffrey Slonim has the scoop on that and more in this week’s celebrity news….

Tituss Burgess attends 'For A Fresh Too Feisty To Quit Campaign Launch' at Gansevoort Park Avenue.
Gotham spoke with Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt actor Tituss Burgess in a suite at the Gansevoort Park Avenue on Thursday. Though he plays an unemployed actor on the show, he sings, dances, purveys a pinot noir, and was nominated for an Emmy Award in real life. Burgess was plugging Unstopables, a detergent that freshens odor, for their For a Fresh Too Feisty to Quit campaign. “I love the name—sometimes, I feel unstoppable,” he said. “But I won’t endorse anything I haven’t tried. So I washed my clothes, and weeks later, they still smell like they just came out of the dryer.”
At the Dakota Bar, during a Ruffino New York Film Festival fête on Monday, Gotham chatted with Jared Harris about his film Certain Women, which is set in Montana. “Kelly [Reichardt, the director] described [my] character as childlike. He can’t accept where he is now in his life and he wants somebody to be responsible [after he suffers a head injury on the job],” he said. We also talked rifles. “He goes postal, and they had this huge sniper’s rifle.” And Reichardt said, ‘I don’t think he would have used that. I imagined him having one of those John Wayne Winchester ’73 things.’ And a crew member said, ‘Oh, I’ve got one in my truck.’” We also spotted co-stars Kristen Stewart in a suit by Sandro, Michelle Williams in Vuitton, and Laura Dern.
