Ask any New Yorker what their favorite spots are in the city and you’ll get a million different responses. But we were curious about what a few specific Manhattan residents thought of the metropolis: Victoria’s Secret models. We sat down with Josephine Skriver, Sara Sampaio, and Taylor Hill to find out where they love to eat, shop, unwind, and the one thing their out-of-town guests can’t miss.

Everyone wants to know where models eat—and all three Angels agreed on their favorite type of cuisine. “I go to Nobu Next Door a lot,” Samapio told us. “But I don’t eat sushi. So, I get the teriyaki steak with white rice.” Skriver also picked Nobu as her go-to spot, but added the Two Hands eatery on Mott Street as another favorite. For Hill, it was all about BondST. “The tuna crispy rice is my favorite,” she said of her top pick.
If they’re in the mood for shopping, the girls head downtown (after a stop at Victoria’s Secret, of course). “I love Soho,” said Skriver. “I think they have a variety of everything.” Taylor also heads to the same neighborhood for a little retail therapy, but has a couple of favorite stores where she’ll drop a little more cash. “I’m in love with Gucci right now,” she told us. “And Urban Outfitters; I go in there and come out with so many t-shirts.”
For a different kind of therapy, Skriver admitted she has a favorite place where she likes to chill out. “I love getting spa treatments at Great Jones Spa,” she said. “I’m all about the whole-body massage there. Just touch me everywhere.”
Though they all proudly declared that they are real New Yorkers and take the subway or walk everywhere, there are some classic attractions the models like to scope out when family or friends are in town. “My favorite museum is the American Museum of Natural History,” revealed Sampaio. “It’s the most exciting because I love animals and nature. When I have people visiting that’s where I’ll take them.”
Like Sampaio, Hill also said she loved the Upper West Side landmark. “I love the American Museum of Natural History because it has the dinosaur in it,” she noted. “The MET is also very cool. It’s so beautiful.” Perhaps the two should go together as Sampaio said visiting the famous art museum is still on her to-do list. “I’ve never been to the MET,” she revealed. “I’ve been to the stairs because of Gossip Girl, but I’ve never been inside.”
But, of all the places Hill takes her visitors, there is one New York staple she won’t let them miss. “I take people on the subway,” she said. “I always tell them Sex and the City is not real life. This is real New York.”
