E-Commerce brand Accompany offers socially conscious and ethically cool clothing and accessories that are perfect for the cold weather. Founder Jason Keehn shares some of his favorites….
Accompany founder Jason Keehn with Ronan Farrow at SXSWEco last month.
Jason Keehn is the creator of Accompany, a socially conscious e-commerce space that offers a curated selection of unique, ethically sourced products. Founded on the premise that responsibly made items should be easily accessible, Keehn’s company offers anything and everything from home items like pillows and blankets to women’s and men’s fashions and accessories.
What’s most exciting for Accompany is what’s to come. This spring, Accompany will carry Burkman Bros, which Keehn tells us is a menswear line fresh out of the CFDA incubator program with a true commitment to ethical production and handcrafted techniques. Shoppers can also expect curated influencer and capsule lines in the future. “We want to have a sense of fluidity, freshness, and range, so that we [can] keep everyone on their toes with new launches,” Keehn shares. “[We will also] partner with new charities, fair trade workshops, and artisan cooperatives to keep giving the audience new ways to connect with the purpose behind their purchase.”
In light of the season's first Polar Vortex, we had Keehn pick a few of his cold weather favorites from Accompany....
“This winter, it’s all about letting the cool weather slow you down. Keep it simple, and spend time with yourself, your home, and your tribe.”
“Our tote bag from Caputo & Co. continues the minimalist theme with an energetic cool blue strip, hand-stitched by artisans in Guatemala. It’s great for housing your gym gear, lightweight laptop, and the paper on your way out the door.”
“The alpaca throws are bestsellers in the winter months, especially for gifting. They come in a range of colors, many of which are lean, sophisticated, and masculine. They’re super soft, hypoallergenic, and produced by workshops in Ecuador.”
