Bushes of the Piaget rose were planted in The New York Botanical Garden as part of Piaget Rose Day.
Piaget celebrated its first-ever Piaget Rose Day on June 13, 2013, as a tribute to the rose—named in honor of Yves Piaget, the last family member to lead the brand—that serves as the luxe jewelery and watchmaker’s inspiration. The house celebrated worldwide with a number of different events. Here in New York, Piaget commemorated the day in partnership with The New York Botanical Garden by planting unique Piaget rose bushes in the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden.
To add to the celebration, Piaget launched an updated version of the U.S. e-commerce site with exclusive jewelry and timepieces from the Piaget Rose collection. The brand also held a worldwide Piaget Facebook contest, reopened Piaget’s Place Vendome flagship boutique in Paris, and held a private concert with Melody Gardot, a Piaget ambassador and Grammy-nominated jazz singer.
