Tiffany Chung’s Bubble Shooter in a Different World is currently on display at Tyler Rollins Fine Art.
Chelsea’s famous art district recently welcomed a new and inventive cultural haven— Tyler Rollins Fine Art, a 3,000-square-foot gallery that aims to raise the visibility of contemporary Southeast Asian art and move away from the supertrendy Chinese aesthetic that has saturated the art world. Rollins expresses his socially progressive worldview in exhibitions that provide a fresh and diverse take on these vibrant cultures. Thai textile-based contemporary artist Jakkai Siributr showcased his brilliant exhibition “Temple Fair” at the gallery’s premiere in October, and Vietnamese photographer and conceptual artist Tiffany Chung presents “Play” through January 17.
