On the red carpet, Kinnear mentioned that he actually grew up in Greece on an Air Force base. His dad was a diplomat. “I was back there [in Greece] last summer,” he said. “You can’t be any less Greek than Greg Kinnear, but I can get around in Greece with my Greek, and believe me, my kids were looking very closely for any signs of flop sweat as I tried to negotiate Athens. I can get around and talk my way through it.” Kinnear added, “I didn’t know Brooklyn until we shot this movie there last summer, but it’s a beautiful place.”
The night before the big New York season premiere of her show Orange Is the New Black, actress Dascha Polanco dined at SUSHISAMBA in the West Village with a male pal. She ordered the Nina fresa cocktail, seviche de mariscos, misti roll, and s'mores. She wore a black wide-brimmed hat.
