The reclaimed wood bar at Randolph Beer
The guys behind The Randolph have opened new craft beer bar boasting 36 beers on tap and a full menu of savory snacks and entrées. Divided into categories like Rich & Sweet, Tart & Funky, and Crisp & Light, beers run the gamut from Breckenridge Brewery’s slightly sweet Vanilla Porter (Colorado) to Schmaltz Brewing Company’s creamy Hop Manna (California) and range from $6 to $14 a glass. Enticing small bites include cheddar brats with sauerkraut and horseradish mustard; beer-battered oysters with shiso leaf and sambal aioli; and potato wedge fries with wild mushroom gravy.
With a bar made from 100-year-old reclaimed Kentucky barn wood, Maine oak booths and tables, beer barrel club chairs, and Ford Model T headlight light fixtures, the ambiance is USA through and through. Plus, Randolph Beer is just steps away from sister cocktail bar The Randolph, which means there’s something for everyone on this block. 343 Broome St.
