Rebecca Taylor fall 2012 looks
New Zealand-born designer Rebecca Taylor has opened her third retail store in New York, which joins her other two in Nolita and the Meatpacking District, on Madison Avenue between 76th and 77th Street. The new space will be her largest yet and has been designed to look like a ballet studio, with white walls, wood floors, and fixtures made from vintage ballet bars. The boutique will carry Taylor’s very popular dresses in simple prints and solid patterns—perfect for transitioning from the office to a night on the town—and accessories like shoes and handbags. The current collection is chock-full of plum, dark teal, and black ensembles for fall. With dresses and shoes starting at around $300, you can stock up for the new season. 980C Madison Ave., 646-560-2515
