1 - The Dutch Grills Out for the Fourth

On July 4, SoHo gem The Dutch will be serving a special cookout menu ($28), available in house and for takeout, that includes Texas-style brisket, ribs, barbecue pulled pork, corn on the cob, watermelon, and cornbread. At the bar you'll find $10 Mellow Corn Juleps. For New Yorkers lacking an outdoor grill space, this is the next best thing to a home-cooked July 4th meal. (In fact, it’s likely tastier than what you’d grill up on your own.)

The Independence Day menu is in addition to The Dutch's signature favorites, such as the Prince Platter, which includes oysters, littleneck clams, ceviche, kampachi, sweet shrimp, uni, lobster cocktail, and crab claws, available at both brunch and supper. At brunch, be sure to try the legendary fried chicken with honey butter biscuits. On the dinner menu, there's the impressive 40-ounce ribeye for two—dry-aged for 28 days and cooked to perfection. 131 Sullivan St., 212-677-2200
