These Eric Giroud designed D:Light watches ($1,500 in steel; $1,700 in gold PVD) are part of Swarovski’s Avant Time collection.

Internationally renowned for its dynamic crystals and crystal jewelry, Swarovski recently debuted an innovative new timepiece collection, Avant Time, that features new crystal colors, exclusive cuts and shapes. The 114-year-old family-run Austrian brand spent three years in the research and development stages for the collection, and it shows. For the series, Swarovski enhanced the crystal with metal, leather and rubber to exemplify its philosophy, “the poetry of precision.” Each watch displays the Swanflower logo on its caseback, and standouts include the round Octea with crystal bezel; the square Baguette series; the round Piazza; the square Elis; and the avant-garde D:Light featuring a dial made of 171 Swarovski-exclusive Xilion crystals and a digital LED display. The collection ranges in price from $450 to $1,700. Swarovski, Rockefeller Plaza, 212-332-4300; swarovski.com
