From the time they could walk, these girls have had a flair for reworking vintage finds into modern pieces they can call their own. Tuleste, a combination of the sisters’ names, is most notable for its accessible prices.

Boutique: Albertine. We always want everything in the store! Intermix has great staples and occasional guilty pleasures.
Restaurant: Momofuku ssäm and Milk Bar. La Superior, in Williamsburg, has great Mexican food.
Ideal Neighborhood: Gramercy is where we live and work, but we love to play on the Lower East Side.
New York Inspiration: We’re suckers for thrift stores and are constantly searching for the next best one.
Must-Read: Linda Goodman’s Love Signs. She’s convincing enough to make you leave your boyfriend if he happens to be the wrong sign for you.
Favorite Watering Hole: 3 Steps is our neighborhood bar.
Heels or Flats? Heels or sneakers!
Bakery: Momofuku Milk Bar for compost cookies, jelly-doughnut-flavored ice cream and pork buns. We are hooked!
Brunch: Freemans, when we’re craving Bloody Marys and artichoke dip.

Gaby Basora
Tucker, developed in 2005, is the gorgeous result of Basora’s love affair with styling and design. The collection’s signature prints are inspired by National Geographic, novels and travel mementos. Basora has a particular affinity for the East Village, where she resides with her husband and three sons.
