The only designer ever to have presented a collection at the Tiffany & Co. flagship store, she was also selected to collaborate with Target on its Go International campaign. Most recently, she introduced a capsule collection of luxury organic sportswear. We can’t wait to see what this forward-thinking creative mind has in store for us next.

“This is a great little item because it’s easy to keep filled with cards and even a bit of cash, and it moves back and forth between my day bag and evening bag.”

“I don’t really wear makeup during the day, but this gives my face a little healthy color in the morning.”

“I have been traveling with this watercolor set for years. It’s a miniature version of the fullsize Winsor & Newton set I used in art school.”

“I keep my office keys on this key chain. It was given to me by Tiffany & Co. as a gift when I showed my collection at their Fifth Avenue store a few seasons ago, and it has the date engraved on the back. ”

“I love this piece because it doubles as a wallet and agenda, and it comes with a tiny silver pen attached so I can write or do a little sketching if I have an idea on the road.”

The designer shares some of her creative inspirations.

“I don’t like the cold winters in New York so I try to go somewhere warm whenever I can. I would go to Africa more often if I could! My family’s farmhouse in New Jersey is the closest escape for me when I need to relax away from the city.”

“The flower-print dress from my collection is my favorite spring look. It is a very unusual print as it was developed with digital photography as opposed to traditional printing techniques. ”

“Alexander Calder has always been a favorite artist of mine. I like art that has an element of fantasy and makes your mind wander and imagine other things.”
