Golden Globes Report: The Perfect 10
8. Jessica Alba
Can Jessica Alba tread a bad step on a red carpet? Not likely. Gorgeous, with a fantastic body and fantastic skin, she was born to walk the paparazzi line at award shows. So there are no complaints about her Golden Globes look: a Gucci Premiere silk-charmeuse embroidered evening gown accented with crystal-encrusted organza petals, crystal drops and a high-waisted sash that draped into a pleated train. Utterly perfect—but what caught my eye that didn’t on so many other looks was how effortlessly chic her jewelry paired with the gown. From Bulgari, platinum and diamond earrings that totaled 37.14 carats, as well as a white gold bracelet with 386 diamonds totaling 23.51 carats and a white gold and 9.3-carat diamond ring from the famed jewelry house’s high-jewelry collection. Was it the gown or her skin tone that enhanced those jewels? Doesn’t matter—Alba sparkled on Sunday night.
