After stints at Nautica, Yves Saint Laurent and Calvin Klein, Spurr launched his eponymous line as a denim capsule collection exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman in 2006. It has since expanded to include men’s fashion apparel, accessories and lifestyle products. Spurr successfully combines English style and slim tailoring with high-quality Italian materials and construction for the latest and greatest in men’s suiting. Bravo to the recent induction into the CFDA!
Favorite Spots: As I live and work uptown, I spend a lot of time on the Upper West Side, at Whole Foods, Equinox, the tennis courts on Riverside, George Keeley’s pub… Other than that I love the Met, MoMA, Central Park and Norwood.
Personal Style: I like to think I have an aesthetic that naturally mixes modern and vintage.
Morning Ritual: I kiss my girl, feed and walk my dog, grab a coffee and get to work.
Before Bed: I make a list of things to do for the next day, send emails to Italy so I have answers in the morning and read my book in bed.
NYC Inspiration: The energy, the multicultural and diverse inhabitants, art and accessibility to anything.
Favorite Artist: Richard Prince
In his Fridge: Milk. I love tea! You can take the boy out of England but you can’t take England out of the boy.
Most-Used Piece of Clothing: Spurr jeans— I wear them almost every day.

Born in Paris, David moved to New York at age 19 to attend Parsons School of Design. Since working with Ralph Lauren and other notable fashion names, he has spent more than a year perfecting his silk scarf collection, which is bound to distinguish him even further in the fashion world.
Street: I like Rivington Street, I used to live on Chrystie and Rivington.

Born and raised in Israel, this French- Moroccan designer has traveled to locations metropolitan and remote, drawing inspiration from everything and everywhere. He has a fullservice atelier and showroom in the Garment District, a flagship store in the Meatpacking District and a store in the Hamptons, covering every base. Along with Azrouël’s nomination this year by GQ for the Best New Designer in America award, he was recently chosen as the featured designer for Mercedes-Benz Presents at New York Fashion Week Fall 2009.

Home Décor: My style is very casual and comfortable and that translates to the warmth of home. I like things that will still work 10 to 20 years from now.
