Whether it's an upscale soiree or a dive-bar bash, guys always love a party. And since New York City has bountiful places and spaces that cater to the fellas, we decided to tip our hat to the three most male-friendly parties of the past season—and point you at some opportunities for man-geared togetherness this month.

Brother Jimmy’s 20th Anniversary Party: The Southern-style barbecue restaurant celebrated two decades of business in traditional style. Packing its Upper East Side location with dozens of pretty vixens, it treated lucky male revelers to fishbowls of booze, cans of Natural Light beer, pulled pork sliders, hush puppies and more. 76ers sensation Elton Brand personally polished off a heaping plate of buffalo wings, while Sopranos star Robert Iler and ’N Syncer Lance Bass lavished tequila shots on friends. Everyone left full, inebriated and holding a complimentary bottle of the restaurant’s trademark hot sauce.

Cinema Society founder Andrew Saffir’s screening of The Hangover had manliness stamped all over it. The Details-sponsored bash drew stars Bradley Cooper and Justin Bartha to the yard of the Soho Grand Hotel, where guests mingled with Gerard Butler, Will Arnett, Zach Braff, Rob Thomas and Zachary Quinto. Keeping with the flick’s spirit, Jägermeister shots flowed and the cuisine was every guy’s dream: burgers, hot dogs, sausage and peppers, lobster rolls and fries. Several partygoers remarked that they’d love to eat it all again while nursing hangovers the following day.

Dos Equis’ Most Interesting Academy Party: Nothing screams “guy” like Man vs. Wild host Bear Grylls. The survivalist teamed up with Dos Equis for a web-video series showing city dwellers how to survive hazards in a metropolis. The bash featured Grylls himself, a pool with models “playing” football and appetizers like python and alligator. The best were the various room themes at the Broad street venue: “bout of the Black Belts,” “titans of table tennis” and “edible entomology.”

Miss these testosterone-fueled bashes? No worries; there are plenty of machismo-friendly places to check out with your guytourage. For the dapper types there’s Brandy Library (25 N. Moore St., 212-226-5545; brandylibrary.com), packed with every whisky and scotch imaginable. For the average guy’s night out, there’s 675 Bar (675 Hudson St., 212-699-2410), complete with pool table, plates of Italian sausage and comfy oversize leather armchairs. Rowdy types can try the Rusty Knot (425 West St., 212-645- 5668), where there’s a beer that costs just 99 cents, $3 cans and wooden walls. ’Cause guys like things that resemble log cabins. Right, fellas?
