Tribeca Film Festival Party Spots
By Sean Evans
The Bunker Club.
Whether grabbing dinner before a show or heading to an afterparty post-screening, Tribeca Film Fest goers will be heading to these spots during this year's festival.
This retreat on W. 17th Street will reprise the role of TFF afterparty hot spot. Check out the raised lounge with a flickering fireplace and leather couches for loafing stars, or the tables next to the DJ booth. Just don’t tell the doorman you’re here to meet DiCaprio. 435 W. 17th St., 212-242-1111; 1oaknyc.com.
Work your charm on the door attendants, then be sure to check each of the side rooms along the back, where celebs such as Zoe Kravitz and Ezra Miller are rumored to hide out. 675 Hudson St., 212-699-2410; 675bar.com.
THE BUNKER CLUB
Bunker is the latest club offering in MePa. With a spacious dance floor surrounded by tables, you can cut loose or just take in the view. Expect big names here, as a number of festival fêtes are scheduled. 24 Ninth Ave., 212-837-4700; bunkerclubnyc.com.
This Italian restaurant (co-owned by TFF cofounder Robert De Niro) is a hotbed of celebrity action even when the festival isn’t in full swing. Many boldface names tuck into hearty pasta dishes here before heading down to walk the red carpet at the BMC. 377 Greenwich St., 212-925-3797; locandaverdenyc.com.
Gotham Magazine hosted its latest issue featuring the current cast of Saturday Night Live at the Four Seasons Hotel on Monday, February 23.
