For a night in the Meatpacking District, head to RdV (short for “Rendezvous”) first. Don’t be deterred by the moniker. Descend a dark stairway into the subterranean lounge and find an opulent realm that belies the nondescript door. David Graziano and Corey Lane (of Bagatelle fame) themed their hideaway after a turn-of-the-century hotel lobby, but it feels more like stepping into Europe in the 1960s. Pull up a fur-covered bench or any of the mismatched antique furniture and try out tasty drinks concocted by master mixologist Thierry Hernandez from the Bar du Plaza Athénée in Paris.
