The Grand Opulence Sundae at Serendipity 3

Serendipity 3 finally got the chance to make its Grand Opulence Sundae when Crown prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum ordered one last Saturday.

For $1,000, you can also experience the Grand Opulence Sundae: five scoops of vanilla ice cream made from Tahitian beans and Madagascar vanilla topped with the world's most expensive chocolate (Amedei Porcelana) and chunks of rare Chuao chocolate with truffles, Parisian candied fruit, and Marzipan cherries.

The sundae is topped with Grand Passion Caviar—made with low salt whitefish that's infused with passion fruit, orange, and Armagnac liqueur—and is served in a Baccarat goblet with a gold spoon. If interested, let Serendipity know 48 hours in advance. 225 East 60th St., 212-838-3531
