Macaroni and cheese with cheddar, Gruyere, mozzarella di bufala, tasso ham, and onion rings

Murray’s Cheese has long been a favorite in the hearts of cheese-loving New Yorkers. There’s the flagship store, which opened in 1991 in Greenwich Village, the Grand Central terminal shop, and now, the first-ever Murray’s Cheese Bar in the West Village. The new bar is located next door to the original cheese shop and features a wide selection of cheeses to take home and a new menu of cheese-centric dishes, including Buffalo cheese curds, delicious mac ‘n’ cheese, a cheddar burger, and of course, grilled cheese. With a drink menu that includes wine, beer, artisanal sodas, and Kombucha, there are plenty of beverage pairing options for chef Tia Keenan’s (formerly of Casellula) cheesy menu. Reservations are accepted for parties of six or more. 264 Bleecker St., 646-476-8882
