I ♥ NY DINE: Blue Ribbon Sushi (119 Sullivan St., 212-343-0404) Raoul’s (180 Prince St., 212-966-3518) DRINK: Wakatake sake at Sake Bar Decibel (240 E. 9th St.; sakebardecibel.com) SHOP: 4th Street Food Co-Op is great for organic stuff (58 E. 4th St., 212-674-3623) Hell’s Kitchen Flea Market on 39th Street and 9th Avenue for antiques and knickknacks. HIDDEN GEM: Ogawa Cafe is small, but great. (36 E. 4th St., 212-533-6527) WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT NEW YORK? The kinetic energy, everything is on your doorstep, like galleries and museums, and I met my wife here. |
Giving Back
I’m a supporter of Concern Worldwide, The Bowery Mission, Unicef, Amnesty International and The Smile Train.
Ego Boost
I wear Chanel Égoïste Platinum. Hairstylist Ben Skervin usually cuts my hair as we work together so much and we just do it on set.
Threads
My go-to for suits is Yves Saint Laurent (3 E. 57th St.; ysl.com) and Rag & Bone (104 Chritopher St.; rag-bone.com) for informal clothing. Two things I can’t live without are vintage black Calvin Klein T-shirts (654 Madison Ave.; calvinklein.com) and my Prada gray camel blazer (575 Broadway; prada.com).
Photo Op
I use a Hasselblad H2 for shooting stories and a Canon G9 for personal.
