SummerStage celebrates its 25th anniversary with an enormous lineup meant to hit all five boroughs throughout the summer. Indie queen St. Vincent (otherwise knows as Annie Clark) performs tonight.

Tour of “Remediate/Re-vision: Public Artists Engaging the Environment”—the new exhibition in the Glyndor Gallery at lovely Wave Hill—which investigates the importance of public art installations that shape built environments. 

For a special three-day performance, the concert version of The Capeman—with music by Paul Simon—comes to the Delacorte Theater. It follows a Nuyorican street gang member whose story is exposed by the tabloids in 1959. Free.

Battery Dance Company rounded up a slew of impressive features for the 29th annual Downtown Dance Festival, including Japanese modern dance company Yuko Takahashi.  

Rihanna takes the Central Park Rumsey Playfield stage as part of Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series (7–9 AM). Free.

It’s time to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty—for a greater cause, of course—on August Beautification Day in Fort Tryon Park (10 AM–2:30 PM).

This year the Central Park Film Festival is themed “Iconic New York” and has a location befitting of the title. We can't wait to see what's on tap.
